What is CEREC? What is the Procedure for CEREC Treatment?

The dentist prepares the tooth by precisely removing the area with caries or damage. The CEREC camera then takes a 3-dimensional image of your tooth and transfers the data to a computer. The dentist designs the filling or crown to be milled out of the ceramic block.

The advantages of CEREC treatment

  1. Time-saving: The CEREC restoration is designed, milled and placed in only one treatment session.
  2. No impression, No temporary, No second appointment.
  3. Durability: CEREC restorations have a long lifespan – at least equivalent to gold. This has been proven in long-term studies.
  4. Aesthetic: All-ceramic CEREC restorations optimally match natural tooth color and form.
  5. CEREC: Attractive healthy teeth in only one appointment.
